The wait is finally over.. Jay's new album is going to be released on Oct 9 2008..

The album name is "Capricorn".. because he is a capricorn.. the chinese name is 魔杰座 (mo jie zuo) which sounds like 摩羯座.. That is so smart of him to think of that.. Also, it is widely known for his passion for magic.. so another definition of the title 魔杰座 means Magician Jay.. How cool is that..???

Just got myself some new gadgets this year... New digi cam.. new mp4 and my DS lite.. Loved them...

Saw this rainbow while waiting for the train on the way to work.. it appears after a slight drizzle in the morning.. nice~~~

Just a quick check.. and i realise its been abt 3 months since i last blogged.. hehehe.. too lazy, plus dunno what to blog either.

Anyway, just a quick update.. went to bangkok on the 8th to 11th May 2008 with sy. Did quite a lot of shopping there. Loved the place.. esp Platinum Mall and Pratunam market.. Loads of cheap and nice clothes.. cheaper still if we buy in wholesale.. That is the time when i learnt the meaning of the phrase. Meaning, we can get cheaper price if we buy in bulk.. normally is 3pcs.. Haha.. really shiok man.. we ended carrying big bags of "loots" everyday back to the hotel..

Tried their thai body massage.. very very comfortable.. and very worth it.. it cost only 400 baht (abt 17 bucks) for one hour of massage. Located at MBK.. i think i will enjoy it more if not for my bad flu.. they are very kind and friendly.. plus excellent services. Will definitely go back again during my next visit to BKK.

Some details on our trip:

We book airasia flight via online.. think cost less than 200 bucks per pax including taxes..

Stayed at baiyoke boutique hotel for abt 50+ bucks per night for superior room. Nice, clean and cosy.. great service.. very friendly and helpful staffs.. Great location, as it is walking distance to Pratunam and Platinum mall.

Went to these places..

MBK for massage and food.. plaza 29 for manicure.. Central world for nice food.. Platinum Mall and Pratunam for shopping.. Chatuchak for experience and shopping.. Chinatown for the seafood and sharkfin soup and birdnest.. Khaosan for the night life..

We travelled by cab for most of the time.. be sure to ask the driver to go by meter.. cos some of them will overcharge tourists.

After such a long wait, this movie is out.. finally!

I went to watch it just now.. and it didn't disappoint me at all.. L is still so cute.. ^^ Especially when he skews the sweets and cakes for the kids.. Awww... I want... They really potray the soft side of him in this movie..

When he knows that he had only a limited number of days to solve the problems.. but he didn't give up at all.. This surely motivates me.. and i will tell myself not to give up easily..

There are some sad parts... when watari dies.. he did not cry.. but the sadness within him makes me want to cry.. and when the last part where he walks away slowly.. is like.. he has accomplised his mission.. and its time to go.. oh boy.. its really sad...

U might want to stay till the very end of the film.. that is, after the credits are being played.. there is a short clip to watch.. maybe i had expected something much.. so i was quite disappointed.. but anyway.. if u have nothing to do after the movie.. no harm staying in the theatre for a little longer...

Before i went in to the theatre, guess what? I saw the big "kungfu dunk" board right next to the esculator.. it might mean nothing to other ppl.. BUT i saw Jay's siggy on it.. this must be the same one he signed on during the KFD promo at bugis.. i was screaming to my frens on the esculator.. they must think that i have gone crazy... LOL.. And, i almost touched it.. but it was too far away liao.. hahaha...

Then, when i was walking home from the bus stop just now.. i saw a tofu car passed by me.. wow.. so long nv seen one in SG liao.. so excited to see it again... ^o^

Still having "hang-overs" from previous night concert.. i woke up at 8am (even though i slept at ard 3am the day b4).. Can't get back to sleep after that.. so i decided to post some pics on jcnet. Tonight is the second and last night of his sg concert.. was kind of sad.. but still very excited..

Went to SY's place to re-charge the batt and went directly to the stadium after that.. Saw a very long queue at the premier entrance, i thought how come so many ppl came so early to get in?? But i was wrong lah.. they are queuing up to buy the merchadise.. luckily i got mine yesterday.. cos everything was sold out already..

After meeting up with the rest, we went in at ard 8plus.. went to look for my seat.. it was super near the stage lor..

Even though i was alone there, cos i got my tic at the very last min.. everyone else had already gotten theirs.. but i still feel very excited..

When the show starts.. i stood up and wave my light stick.. no one was doing anything except for me.. i think they got superglue on their chairs.. -.- but i dun care.. i just stand all the way.. some ppl were looking at me.. haha.. but i hope jay will notice me, since i'm the only one standing and screaming there.. like a lunatic.. hahaha..

He sounds much better today.. yesterday was really terrible.. i'm not saying jay is terrible, but his voice.. due to his flu.. poor guy.. anyway, he is much into form tonight..

Love Jay.. love his concerts.. love everything abt him.. awww.. jay.. u r so great..

Decided to post this before I forget anything..

Yesterday is the day.. Jay Day.. his singapore concert and his bday.. all in the same day. Can u believe it? I can't believe it myself at first.. That is so awesome.

The concert stated to start at ard 8pm, but i was already there at ard 6plus.. too excited, i think. I can't even concentrate on work in the morning.. hahaha.. But after collecting the merchandise and some photo taking with "Jay".. we waited outside for everyone to be here.

My seat is at row 16, and its really close (i can't believe how it will be for tonite's row 3). The concert starts at 8.30pm.. everyone went crazy when the lights are dimmed, and we saw some golden armour guys prancing on the stage. But i was waiting for jay to appear. There he is, appearing gradually from the rising platform on the middle of the stage. My jaws almost dropped when i heard his voice. It sounded strange.. he must be so sick.. but he still performed really well. He wore the purple feathery costume and sang Huang Jin Jia. He really rocks the stadium.

At some parts of the concert, i actually ran to the front of the audience area to see him clearly.. hahaha.. dunno if he got notice us. Towards to middle of the concert, he asked if anyone got prepare a birthday cake for him.. it must be so awkward, the organisers didn't do anything for his bday.. -.- but he lead everyone to sing birthday song for him.. woah.. it was so cool.. and he is very happy.. ^^

Other than his powerful piano skills, he had showed us his other skills, like playing the 扯铃 and 古筝.. also, his dance moves are much better than the incomparable concert.

At the end of the concert, Dan Tou dressed in a sexy dress and tries to kiss Jay.. Poor Jay, he is running all over the stage.. but it looks like they are having loads of fun.. we are very happy too..

Can't wait for tonite's concert.. hope that it will be the same or better still.. ^^

2008 will be arriving less than 30 mins from the minute i type this entry. First of all, here's wishing all my friends and family, GOOD HEALTH AND GOOD LUCK FOR THE YEAR 2008.

Before moving on, just want a brief summary of what had happened in the year 2007.

I got my current job half a year ago.. though the work is getting very tough and hectic, but I hope i can overcome all the difficulties and proof my capabilities. On the other hand, I got to know many nice ppl in this company. Sometimes I don't even treat them as my colleagues, but as friends. This is one of my motivation to hang on there.

Jay was here for the promotion of his debut directorial movie, SECRET. Of cos I can't miss out the opportunity to see him again on our shores. Can't wait for his concert on Jan 18 and 19. ^^

Jay has released his eighth album, Jay Chou On The Run. I had a hard time to get accustomed to the first track. That is so unlike him. But I still love him. <3 ^^

I had lost a loved one this year. My aunt has passed away peacefully last month. I was sad as she was really nice to me when I was young. Dear aunt, we will miss you forever.

Oh yah, and also, I joined Facebook too. It is a very fun and interesting community. Still addicted to it now.. hahaha..

I always thought that I am a good girl and a good colleague. Until that day when I go back to work with a new haircut.

Me: What? Handsome is for guys lah.. I am a girl leh.. (somehow, I managed to stop myself to say, "Girl is beautiful lah.")

Colleague S: Yah! U handsome!!

Me: ......

At the later half of the day, colleague H suddenly ask me to put out my hand. I thought she wanted to give me something, so i stretched out my hand obediently. Then she put something on my hand, the moment I saw what she "gave" me.. I almost freaked out and flung it on the floor.. It was a fake cockcroach, man.. :`(

I always thought that I am a good girl and a good colleague... Or am I not? 

这几个礼拜， 在不知不觉中开始把这个词挂在嘴边。 就是“做死人”。 别误会， 并不是 make dead ppl. 而是，工作量不断的增加。而且是有增无减的趋势。 同事把工作交待给我后，我说的第一句话就是，“作死人啦！” 意思就是， 工作多到可以把人给“作死”。

即然说到这个词，我就顺便告你们另一个吧。就是。。 “死到惨惨”。 其实，意思是差不多一样的。只是，一个是死前，一个是死后。 哈哈。。

今天，如往常一样，与同事一起去吃午餐。 忽然，JL问起，“你们知道她叫什么名字吗？” 我们都朝着他指的方向看。 只看到一位煮炒摊位的女助手。 我们都顿时傻眼了。 不了解为啥他会问这个莫名其妙的问题。 应为多数人都不会在乎她们叫什么名字， 也不会想去问。 我也不例外。 JL却说， 每次去 order 食物时，都说我要什么，什么。 就是不叫他们的名字。 好像有点奇怪。 也许是我们几乎每天都准时到那儿去“报到”。 时间久了，就“认识”了吧。 我想，也没错啊。 可是，有这个必要吗？

到头来，我想JL的目的是想认识人家吧？ 哈哈！ 

After reading some ppl blogging abt facebook and receiving invites from my friends. I had finally joined the community today. This stuff is totally foreign to me, and even though i only took abt a minute to sign up, it took me another half an hour to explore PART of the site. It is pretty time consuming to manage the account.

However, it is a very interesting and fun community. Got many things to play around with, can even adopt a little virtual pet. For those whom had received my invites, pls join my community and we can have fun together!

I wanted to go prawn fishing... so i asked my frens, sy and hock to go together. At first, i wanted to meet earlier in the afternoon.. but sy says she needs to go somewhere first.. so i arranged to meet in the late afternoon.

We met at khatib mrt stn, and walked to bottle tree park. All of us were there for the first time... we looked for the prawn pond... luckily there isn't much ppl there at the moment... we went to the counter to pay and took the bait and rod. After looking for a good spot to settle down.. we hooked the bait to the rod.. and i dropped the line slowly into the pond.. and wait... and wait.. nothing happens....

The uncle beside me suddenly pull up his fishing line.. and i saw a huge prawn struggling... he expertedly remove the hook from the prawn and put in the net. how i wish i could catch a prawn like that.. after waiting for dunno how long... i suddenly feel something... i gently pull the line a little bit.. and feel that something is tugging the line... then i quickly pull the rod and saw my catch... yeah... my first prawn... i put the prawn on the ground... but dun dare to touch it... den hock helped to remove the hook from the prawn....

Subsequently.. hock caught his first prawn.. and then sy... she got help from an expert... and managed to get her catch soon... Then... i decided to change my "fengshui" place... and walked to the other side of the pond to try... soon... i got another prawn on the hook... hehehe... it really helps.....

After some time... sy came over and told me that one of the net is gone... and there are three prawns in that net... i think most likely.. the net has fallen into the pond... sy damn heart pain... cos the big prawn (somemore got "eggs" one) is in that net...

Luckily.. we managed to catch a few more to "replace" the losses... our total catch.. 9 prawns.. minus 3+1 losses.. we ended up with only 5. We went to bbq them on the spot... and finished them in minutes...imagine we spent hours just to catch them...

But it was a really fun and enjoyable experience...
